BeatWalk: une application musicale personnalisée pour la rééducation de la marche du patient parkinsonien

Objective : Parkinsonian patients’ gait is improved in the presence of rhythmical auditory stimulations (RAS). We clarified the relation between the variability of patients' responsiveness to RAS and their rhythmical abilities [1]. To compensate for these differences, we designed a mobile application, BeatWalk, delivering individualized interactive musical stimulations for gait auto-rehabilitation. The goal of the present study was to evaluate the observance, safety, tolerance, usability and enjoyment of BeatWalk.
